I read with interest Thorsten's problem with his Palm. Well, I have a different kind of problem with my Duo and my 6100 that may have been caused by my Palm. Everything HotSyncs just fine between the Palm and both of my computers, but when I've tried to print to my Personal LaserWriter from either computer (serial printer) or connect the Duo and 6100 with a printer cable for file sharing, I get an error message stating that the printer port is in use. I've turned Appletalk off, restarted the computer, and zapped the PRAM on both computers. I've also tried to change Appletalk to Printer Port, but it keeps saying that the port is in use. I suspect it might be something to do with the Serial Port Monitor in the Palm Folder but I can't turn that application off in either the Duo or the 6100. I like my Palm, but I also like printing from my duo and 6100 and file-sharing between them as needed.
