I have recently won an auction for a PowerBook 3400c on eBay. However, the PB is coming from the USA and I am concerned about the PSU. I doubt it will be compatible with the traditional GB power sockets, even with a converter.
Would you be able to advise me on whether I need a new PSU or just a wall socket converter? This will be my first ever laptop, though not my first Macintosh. So I'm just a little concerned about this. If I do need a new GB-specific PSU? Do such things exist or am I just being paranoid? Now I AM getting paranoid! Will the PB work AT ALL in the UK! Argh! It came to around �130 in total including shipping to the UK. Seemed like a good price. Would you agree? Considering I got a Quadra 800 for �30 a while back... Anyway.
