I don't recall if you've already been offered any of the advice I'm about to give, so forgive me if I repeat something that's already been tried or suggested...
Here are some things you might try to do to get File Sharing to work under OS 8.0/8.1... (even 7.6.x, IIRC) - Make sure you have the following control panels on the host machine (190cs - is it a cs?) --File Sharing --Users & Groups --AppleTalk --TCP/IP (not really necessary for file sharing under OS 8, but useful) - Make sure you have the following extensions installed on the host machine --AppleShare --File Sharing Extension --File Sharing Library --OpenTransport (there are a bunch of OT extensions): Open Tpt AppleTalk Library, OpenTpt Serial Arbitrator, OpenTptAppleTalkLib, Open Transport Library, OpenTransportLib. (These are from OT 2.0.3 - I'm not sure you can run that on 68k, but you get the idea - best bet - download OT 1.2 and you'll get what you need) I think that's it. If you've got all of these, and file sharing still doesn't work, then trash the AppleShare Prep file in the prefs folder, restart, rebuild your desktop, and reconfigure your 190cs for file sharing. -File Sharing control panel should be set so that sharing is "on" and you have an "Owner" and password -AppleTalk should be set to "Serial/Modem port" or whatever you are using as your physical cable setup on the 6320, set AppleTalk to the same device (serial port or whatever). Open the Chooser, pick AppleShare, and you should see your 190cs come up. If not, then who knows... I couldn't really say more without seeing your setup in person. HTH!
