Hi, A friend just bought a 3400 from Wegener to go with his Wall Street G3.
They both work fine on a normal ethernet network, and both will talk to each
other by infra-red. However, connecting a crossover cable (which is
definitely working fine) between the 2 Macs just gives an error when either
of them is switched to Ethernet in the Appletalk control panel. Both are
running OS8.6 and I'm stumped on this one! Any help appreciated. Also, am I
right in assuming the original Wall Street hard drive (since replaced) will
work in the 3400 ?

Tim.
