I ran a 3400 with 48 Meg ram for a few years and it
worked fine. Your Virtual Memory disk read/write is
what is killing your speed. You can get a 32 MB RAM
card for the 3400 on eBay for a few bucks. That'll
give you a total of 48 MB. More costs more. It is very
easy to install if you can aquire a torx t-8
screwdriver. They can be found at WalMart, Sears and
eBay. They are not commonly found in auto parts stores
and hardware stores in general it seems.
