-- Hi All. What i would like to know is am i useing the best os for the type of Mac's i have and if not can i have recomendations from user's as to what OS to use.
These are my Mac's and the OS currently running and what they are used for. 3400 /200 64mb ram 9.1 vm set to 110mb 2.4gb hdd used for web email and letters. 190cs 16mb ram vm set to 32mb 1.3gb hdd used too test hdd's and collect email when out and about. desktop 7300/166 (no a 200) with 200mb ram vm turned off 2 x 2gb hdd running 9.1 for web email and photos also writing and the odd game or too. Quadra 840 av 88mb ram 1x 1gb hdd 1 x 500mb hdd and 1 x 350 mb hdd used for video and connected to a photo printer to print pics also edit digi videos of my kids. running 8.1. 1400/166 spare notebook. 7200/120 40mb ram 500mb hdd (spare desktop) 9.0.4 6200/75 16mb ram 250b hdd (spare desktop) 8.1 Duo 230 12mb ram 120mb hdd running 7.6.1 used for playing cards in bed under the bedside lamp light (screen seems best for this ) I have chopped and changed the ram and hdd for the configs so each Macs has enough space incase one goes down but i think that i could be useing them all abit better.
