I have a nice, Sonnet G3 upgraded PB 1400, running OS 9.1. Everything runs
great, but for some reason the PB will not recognize the Global Village
K56/Flex PC card modem in either of the 1400's 2 PC card slots. The modem
shows up on the desktop, and I have it selected in the AOL setup, but for
whatever reason, it will not initialize. Also, upon inserting the card, I get
a warning stating the correct software needed to use this modem in the PC
card slot(s) is not installed. I guess I am missing a driver? Why does the
modem show up on the desktop then? Also, I have ni choice for selecting the
PC card modem option, only the printer/modem port. All of which is baffling!
