Greetings,

Having been a quadra user for over ten years I just got my first
PowerBook a 180c at a yardsale. It worked briefly and now gives the
chimes of death. In all my mac experience I've NEVER received the
chimes of death. I'm thinking because this puppy is portable it's
fragility is the culprit and something is probably broken and/or
loose. I love the thrill of fixing and am not averse to treading
uncharted waters. With this baby, however, I don't know where to
begin. How should I properly initiate my learning curve? I'm in no
rush and at 58 am always eager for new beginnings.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
