I told him, and he immediately said "oh we don't have anything for that" without even looking at the plug (typical anti-Apple bias I run into alot - the assumption that because it's made by Apple, it has NO parts in common with any other kind of anything made in the world). As it turns out, a 1/8' stereo headphone plug is the same, which of course they had gobs of for $1.25 each.
