Of all the web-based email locations I have used, Excite seems the least
low-end browser friendly. My preferred browser is iCab, and I cannot sign in
to Excite at all with that.

Other free web-based email sites that I have found work very well with iCab
(as well as other browsers) and for the most part seem to be faster and less
cumbersome to sign into and use, are applelinks.com and gofairtrade.net.
