After I posted some questions, saying > I know these questions have probably been answered before, "Indeed they have. You should search the archive for answers, as these topics have been discussed repeatedly. "
1. Could someone please explain where the archives are held and how they are searched? 2. Also, is the 2 g hard drive on the 3400 the same larger physical size ide drive as on the 5300s (17.5)? When I got a bigger hard drive for the 5300, I needed to drill holes on the metal cage for the screws to hold the newer, smaller drives in place as the old holes were now in the wrong place. Would I need to drill holes in the metal drive cage if I upgraded to a newer drive on the 3400? 3. What size larger hard drive does the 3400 accept? Is there a particular model that runs best in these older powerbooks? 4. Is there usually 16 mb ram installed and then only 1 slot to add more ram (up to a total of 144 mb)? Thanks for any replies, or for pointers to an archive where I can find information. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
