Yes, that's a good deal. Or at least not bad.

However, as the 3400 is a very nice and powerful laptop, it deserves enough
RAM to be able to give its best. And 32 MB is really not enough. RAM is
pretty expensive for those models but I think that you should at least buy a
64 MB module or even, if you can afford it, maximize its RAM to 144 MB
buying a 128 module (a recent poster here said that there were new 128MB
modules for under $70 at OWC, have a look in the archive).

Anyway, you've made the right choice. The 3400's screen is a pure beauty and
that's always a pleasure to work on this laptop. That's my main computer and
I'm not going to buy a new one very soon.
