Hi list

I need to take an Appleworks 6 database around with me so I've
resurrected an old 5300 running OS8.

Appleworks 6 is running under 9.1 on a desktop machine, but won't run
under OS8. I've updated Quicktime (to v3) but now it says it needs
"Navigation Services"(?) I've found the prefs on the desktop
machine but can't relate them to anything. Can anyone help here?

I can save the AW database as Clarisworks 4 but longish text files
are then truncated. Anyone any ideas for a workaround? An alternative
low end database?

Kind regards,
Mike Russell
