I forgot to ask - does the camera use Compact Flash or other such 
storage cards?  If so, you could get a card reader that attaches to 
the SCSI chain on the 6100.  I'm not sure of the prices, but I doubt 
it's more expensive than buying a 3400+USB card.  And faster than 
USB, too.
