This falls under the heading of Stuff I Used to Know, so I'll just 
prattle on to hear my own voice and let others correct the mess later.

Actually, I think I recall it being in the Internet Preferences file, 
which is why you don't tend to run across where you'd think the URLs 
should be stored. No wait, that's where cookies are stored. OK, I give 
up.

You know, I did something to my copy of IE 5.1 at work so that NONE of 
my visited or typed URLS show in there. Was is History set to 0? Don't 
remember. Don't think you can edit the list; either erase it or let it 
fly.
