Hello eveyone,

I'm new to the list, but a long time Mac person. I just came into
possession of a PB180, no accessories. Of course the battery is dead,
so I can't even tell if it works. No abuse is evident.

Cutting to the chase, I want to find out if it's still good without
buying a bunch of new stuff for a possibly dead machine. Is there anyone
out there in the Chicago area who owns a charger/battery I could borrow
for a while to check this machine out. I'd be happy to pay for shipping
or come pick it up.

Providing this machine is good, I was hoping someone out there might
provide me with info on upgradeability, and what exactly this machine is
capable of. Web surfing? Just plain-text e-mail? Full-motion video
editing? A paperweight? Should I make a vey odd, very thin MacQuarium?

Thanks!

J-J
