I agree. Outlook Express was my favourite Macintosh email program, until I
switched to Entourage, which was/is basically OE5 with To-Dos, Notes and
Calendar functionality tacked onto it.

OE5 is wonderfully flexible, nothing like the convoluted mess that is
Outlook Express for Windows.

Actually, Claris changed its name to Filemaker and stopped development of
all their products except Filemaker and HomePage. ClarisWorks was "bought"
by Apple (along with its developers), and Emailer, as you've indicated, went
on to become Outlook Express.
