This might sound silly, but did you try re-installing the driver for 
the card after upgrading to 9.1?

Sometimes 3rd party cards have actual installers that install a 
driver resource into the System suitcase.  The DRVR wouldn't have 
been installed if you just copied the extensions over from your 
previous installation....

No promises, but it's worth a try, eh?
