How are you measuring this speed? Are you going by how fast web pages are downloaded and displayed, how fast you can download files in your download manager (http, ftp, etc), or how fast files are copied across the network using file sharing? Besides the transceiver, what type of connection are you using? Are you connecting directly to a cable/DSL/ISDN modem or are you connecting to another computer, hub, or switch? What is your network uplink/downlink speed on your modem, if you are eventually connecting to the Internet?
