I need a little help with my Powerbook 500 series battery. What is the best way to open it so that it can be recelled and put back together again? And also, in the process of taking off the darker plastic sleeve thing on the opposite side of the terminals, I managed to break the clip that keeps the battery in the PowerBook. But I do have an extra battery-compartment cover that I can sacrifice if I can use it to re-sleeve the battery so that it will stay in the PowerBook.
Can someone who has recelled PB500 series batteries please give some take apart/put together instructions?
