Could whoever posted info on how to do this please reply (on of off
list)? And, what are the "pin outs" for the battery contacts?

The contacts are marked on the battery "+" and "-". I've found a
couple of amps for a few seconds followed by a couple of hundred mA
until they have a low charge seems to work. After that try charging
it normally.
