I have a rev B, and last time I tried it I had problems, wouldn't boot. 
Mostly, I think it was because I was trying to cram a teensy system into 
my 8 MB card. I've gotten a larger card since then to try it, but have 
mislpaced my flash adapter :-(

Some people have done this successfully, success seems to vary by the 
flash card used.
