I just happened to have the 19-part install images on disk - and for
fun i tried to install it on an extra hd, seems like you don't need
to convert the first 19 parts at all, just click on the first one and
the installer will read the images just as they are - without
mounting or chunking, the only need to be in the same folder as each
other the first image seems to be a special version of diskcopy, when
you continue to upgrade to 0S 7.5.5 (that is also free) you need to
download from the net 4 more images and they all need to be expanded
on your hd for the upgrader to function, for this one you will need
disk copy. Not so much work at all if the 7600 has a relatively fast
internet connection. The install and upgrade was about 10-15 minutes
(I cooked meanwhile aswell) and restarted !
The 19 images are 22mb all together and about 1.1mb each, the 7.5.5
upgrade 5mbs in size, it's not too big.
