Which is to say that the LEM Swap list is an email list of buyers, sellers, and traders of new and used Macs, Mac parts, software, and services. It is a fantastic resource. You will also often get a better offer for an item on the swap list than on eBay, and certainly better than any website specializing in aftermarket Mac parts (as the 1400 would require). The swap list is set up so that if you reply to an email, it goes directly back to the original sender instead of to the list; PowerBooks is set up so that if you reply to an email, it goes back to the entire list and not just the original sender. If you want to send a message to the swap list, you MUST manually specify the swap list as the "to:" recipient like this: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> You can also browse a 30 day back-archive of the messages sent to the list here: <http://mail.maclaunch.com/lists/lem-swap/> Other sites that might be of interest to you are Sun Remarketing <http://www.sunrem.com> and the PowerBook guy <http://www.powerbookguy.com/>. There are more sites out there if you look around a bit, but these should get you started. Sun Remarketing is a bit "optimistic" in it's advertised prices, but The PowerBook Guy is very fair (seeing as how it is a store that checks parts for reliability, not an individual reseller such as you would find on eBay), IMHO. I've done business there and been very satisfied. Peace, Drew Author of ClassicStumbler email: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> web: <http://homepage.mac.com/alk/> Want to know if your neighbor has Wi-Fi?
