Hi Vicki,
I've got two that I'm working on. A 3400 and a 270c. The 3400 has one
blemish mark on the top that I want to polish off without making the
polished area stand out from the other plastic.
The 270c has marks from sliding into a dock. I'm going to sell the dock
and just go with my mini dock. I could paint the case and probably the
mini dock too. Painting the 270c would definitely mean no insertion into
a dock or the paint would scrape for sure.
How did you prep the plastic for paint (other than emery pad sponge
sanding)? Did you use a primer, if so what kind of primer? And what
about chipping the paint? I would think that would be easy to do unless
the paint is somehow baked onto the plastic. I'm presuming plasti-cote
is a durable paint - right?
I could easily get into painting the 270c.

Hi what PB model is it as I strip and spray my books , I sold a white
540c
last year a white 230 duo and a black 140 PB I always use an emery pad
sponge block as it has fine and coarse and ultra fine grade's on it.

When doing the cosmetic's it is the amount of pressure you apply that
will
define how shiny the book will end up. And if you want to get it back to
the
new book feel you need to use plasti-cote spray paint.

Vicki.
