I have an adapter card I use to access a Sony Memory stick (Seeing as USB isn't available). But the transfer rates from the memory stick are sloooow. I checked the packaging on the flash card, and sure enough, the read/write speeds are quite low (something like 300KB/sec if I remember) Obviously, using virtual memory on the HD would be much faster, albeit with more power use... I hear that compact flash are faster, but still not great. Have you noticed a drop in speed compared to the HD? -- John -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
