Lexar Media  Compact flash 16x.

It was much faster than using the original 1400 2 gig drive, since I've put
a 5400 rpm travelstar 20gig in it I use the flash card when I want to work
with large format images in photoshop. For day to day web browsing and email
I just use the HD.

It is great though when you need more VM than you can safely do (By safely
I'm referring to the Apple suggested retail price of setting VM to less than
half the installed ram, or whatever that figure is) or when you are running
off of battery.
