>Well, I've tried all the generous suggestions to date with no luck. I've zapped the PRAM, tried a second power adapter, put in a new PRAM battery, reset the power manager but all with no positive results. Are there any other suggestions out there as to why my 3400 might not be charging up from the power adapter before I consign it to the parts bin? Thanks, Jae
