Netscape 4.75 I prefer Mozilla 1.0.1 on my pb1400c, runs great and surfs faster than any other browser I have installed. Takes longer to start up than the others but is extremely stable.
Tabbed browsing is a must on a 800x600 11.3 inch screen. 1 window holds all my browser pages in nice neat tabs. You can even set them to load in the background while you continue to read the current tab. Note: Moz versions 1.3+ won't work on any classic os, 1.2 is the highest version currently available for a classic OS. on 3/13/03 7:32 AM, jim page at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > just picked up a 3400c, nice machine!! had a few Qs: > > - any way to fix one of the elevation feet that still springs but doesn't > lock > > - running 8.6, just curious which versions of NESTCAPE and IE seem to run > the best > > BTW, lots of good info in the archive > > plans underway to pick up a 128M and a larger drive, that is unless anyone > has any they are selling. if so contact me off list > > thx, > > jim > -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
