The catch inside the foot itself is broken, that's why it won't stay 
latched. You need to replace just the foot, the spring and release button 
should be OK. Press in the foot release button 
_all_the_way_and_then_some_, the foot will just pop out the bottom. A 
replacement can come from a 190, 5300, 3400 or a Kanga, they all use the 
same part (same both sides as well) and it shouldn't cost more than a 
buck or two. Replacement is the reverse of removal. : -)

As earlier mentioned, the OWC 128 Techworks module is probably the best 
deal around. If buying a new HD why not drop a mere $117 on a 40GB 40GN 
drive from googlegear or newegg. Don't bother with the faster 40GNX 
5400rpm drive. You can't see the difference in a 3400 as the bus is too 
slow to use the full speed of the faster drive anyway. Since a 20GB drive 
seems to cost near $90 why bother buying smaller?   : -)
