Ramdoubler supposedly doesn't offer many (if any) advantages over VM in 8.1
or above. Lots of people swear by Speeddoubler, and it certainly zipped up
the performance of my 5300c, but there were so many bizarre conflicts with
applications (which kept bombing out on startup because of "error type 3"
whatever that may be -- this includes SimpleText and even Battery
Recondition) that I've given up using it.
