Wow I've never met another person who has a large hard drive in a 190! YAY I'm not alone. Alas my hard drive is only 5gb, I envy you! I wish my 190cs had a 30gb hard drive. Do not use SCSI disk mode with this computer, though. There is a known issue with large hard drives in the 190 that causes file corruption on its unsuspecting host computer (I found out the hard way, and lost everything on my Quadra 800 after connecting it to the 190 through SCSI disk mode). And that would completely defy the point of using the 190 as a backup in the first place :) Also, the 190 will not be able to boot from an HFS+ drive, although if you partition the disk with a small HFS partition, put the system folder on that, and make the rest HFS+ I don't see why that wouldn't work. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
