Hi Having read the PowerBook 5xx PPC upgrade tech doc I am puzzled by following: RAM expansion:
> The processor upgrade card accepts a RAM expansion card with up > to 56 MB, for a total of 64 MB of RAM. The RAM expansion card is the > same as the > one in an unmodified Macintosh PowerBook 500 series computer. If it was not for the second sentence I'd understand this just fine. However it implies that the 56 Mb module is THE SAME as in unmodified BlackBird hence the max memory is NOT 40 Mb (8 + 32 Mb) stated in another tech doc. What gives?
