Hi all,

you certainly remember the longer continuing Powerbook darkening border
discussion I initiated a several days ago... I hope You won't think:
"Almighty! That guy again" ;)

But I got some interesting news: I've purchased a used dual scan color
display for my powerbook 540. The first moment after I had assembled the new
display I thougt: Cool! It works. But only a few seconds after the Powerbook
was running a new problem started. The display started to get more and more
vertical different colored lines. They got more and more the longer the
Powerbook was running.

Now I'm very confused. Somehow it seems to be the same like with my old b/w
active matrix display (the growing darkening borders). The difference: now
it's a dual scan color display. and colored lines are getting more and more.

Maybe I'm wrong. But it seems as if it's not directly a problem with the
display but more with any part of the board. I've also completely
disassembled the Powerbook and checked and changed nearly all connector
cables. But the problem still remained.

Well, now I'm kind of frustrated. Any ideas?

Thanks
Kai
