Hi all!
I just received my mostly new (REA'd) 5300cs. It's great! The screen
is much better than the passive matrix my 165c had. Havn't updated my OS
though. It's still got 7.5.2 on it but I'm taking it to 8.1 soon.
Can someone advise me on the book's wireless networking capabilities via
the PC card slot. I tried a PC WiFi card which 7.5.2 asked me if I wanted
to format to Mac OS. I have no idea why, but suspect that OS 7.5X ran home
to mama when it encountered WiFi. What OS and software would I need to do
this, and if this card won't work can someone point me to a Mac OS card that
would do the job?
Or is this outside the books capabilities?
