It needs to support VST plugs and instruments at the very least. I've
experience mostly with Cubase, but it doesn't seem exactly graceful in this
limited environment. I can complain that it redlines a good ways towards
the middle of the resource meter, but it simply was created with elbow-room
in mind, not the tight spaces I'm pushing it.

I'm about to try an install of Logic to see if it's any easier on resources.
While not overjoyed at the prospect of learning a new workstation, my prime
directive is Processor Cycle Conservation, and every single one counts.

Deck looks interesting, plenty deep but not as bulky. Then there's the MOTU
stuff, which I know even less about.

Any ideas, experiences or names I should look into? Thanks in advance for
any info.

My best,
Stephen
