Okay gang... going back to this conversation a few days ago... I took a chance and bought some Mac parts from a computer scrapper, sight unseen. Let's see... some worthless floppies, a 7100/66 w/o any simms/dimms whatsoever, a 14" monitor... ...oh! And a Duo 2300c w/ no HD, an okay screen (light brown vertical band right down the middle of the display) and 56mb RAM. It looks like a double-decker module; a smaller board fits on the bigger (familiar to me) RAM board... I use a 280c, and have no intention of upgrading to the 2300c, BUT I would like to upgrade to the 2300c SCREEN and maybe the RAM.. ...but WHY CAN'T I USE the 48mb module in my Duo 280 to give it 52mb RAM??
