I think that it has something to do with not having the right driver installed.
The question is, where can I find the right driver for the Express Modem (?) ("Note:
U.S. PowerBook 500 series computers will have a Global Village PowerPort Mercury modem
installed, not an Express modem") Is it part of OS 7.6.1 or can I find it on the
install CD?
