Advice please:
I have a powerbook 5300cs. I know that one must first plug in the power cord, then connect the 'live' power to the computer with this model.
However, I want to turn the machine off and unplug it each time I finish using it, so there is no danger from the adapter catching fire, etc.
Is there a way to leave everything plugged in somehow so that the little connector at the back of the computer doesn't have to be disconnected each time?
Thanks.
Short Story,
It doesn't matter which you plug or unplug first. The adapter isn't going to catch fire. Leave it plugged in to keep the battery charged. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting
