I use ImageAXS 4.1 on my 1400, it's pretty handy. One of my main uses for the 1400 is to offload images from my digital camera when I'm on trips, via PCMCIA CF and smartmedia adapters (who needs USB?? this is a better solution...)

This auction is supposedly for v4.0 Win and Mac versions both (I emailed, it's not specified in the auction); this software isn't supported any longer but per their website you can get the 4.1 update if you email them.

I've played with several shareware image catalogers but this is the one I ended up keeping on the laptop. I use a different tool if I am going to build a little webpage with previews though, ImageAXS won't do that.

Anyway for $10 ($3 plus shipping) it looked like a good risk to get the Win version, too. Per google search results, there may be an issue with the Windows 4.0 grabbing TIFFs from a CD but since everything I do is from the HD, that doesn't bother me.

Anyway if you have been thinking of doing something like this, you might want to check the auction out. There are 2 more copies BIN for $3.

If you have another tool you like already, good for you :)
