The pics are the important part. While the pics dont show the complete take apart, it does go half way.

it would be nice to have a serie of pix that shows how to take out the motherboard, because instead of resoldering the idea of replacing it with i Kanga board sprung to my mind, especially if you hire some apple repairshop to do it for you - the replacement with a Kangaboard seems to be at about the same coast as resoldering ?

Taking out the motherboard requires a fair amount of trial and error, in my experiences. As for the Kanga, you have to find one first. Good luck,m they are pretty rare by now, even on EBay. Repairing the motherboard should be easy. Do you solder ?
