Not sure. Like I said , can't get it to recognize the cd drive even by itself. I am using an actual terminator, but the zip drive does have a switch for it. When I hook up the cd drive with it terminated and set at any id (it's a little pushbutton kind of thing) I get nothing. I'd really like to get the cd working as it would make updating the OS from 8 much easier I believe.
Try opening up the CD drive and seeing if the ID buttons are connected, as well. Heck, make sure the *drive* is connected.
It's also entirely possible for a drive to pop a disk in and out without actually functioning.
