Hello: I have a much-loved PB 1400 whose trackpad mouse is on the fritz. The symptoms are that it will, in Word for example, highlight and move text seemingly at random. On the desktop, to give another example, it will select an icon and refuse to let go. The problem in part seems to be that the button is sticky; occasionally, tapping on it will allow me to un-select whatever has been randomly highlighted; at other times it takes a sharp tap on the case itself to be able to move on. An external mouse helps with navigation and cuts down on the problem, but it persists, even without me touching the PB in any way. This problem is rendering the PB almost useless. Any bright ideas about how to fix or minimize the problem?
Many thanks, Andy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
