Wait until the problem surfaces and see if it changes when you squeeze the
frame on the left side about midway up. That's where the connector for the
screen attaches. This is a common problem on 1400's, one of mine does it
too. I've changed cables and it still does it occasionally. You may have to
reseat the connection to fix it fully.
