> How much hotter do g3 upgrade cards make pb's run? In a lot of cases, not at all. The newer G3's were made on a smaller process and often have lower power requirements than the older processor did. The best way to tell is after you do the upgrade, does your battery last longer or not? If it does, you have a lower-power CPU which should generate less heat.
