If you are referring to a Mac IIci or IIcx, a windows monitor should work
with the correct adapter. However, the IIci only has enough video RAM for
640x480 graphics, no more. The IIcx video RAM depends on the video card you
have installed. I have an adapter to convert the Mac Standard DB-15
monitor port to the windows standard. Most windows monitors work with such
an adapter, but I have had some old ones (early 1990's) that don't seem to
work. These adapters are very handy incase you don't have any Mac monitors
laying around :)
