Hello Hugo:

Two suggestions:

1a. Drag the folder out of the trash.  Use Sherlock to "find" it and put
it in the trash.  I sometimes get an "Item is in use and can't be put in
trash, do you want to erase this now?" message.

2.  Use File Buddy or another Finder helper program to erase it or
change the file or folder's settings to (basically) "not inited".

3.  Use a disk or hex editor to erase it.

Which file or folder is actually causing the problem?  Is it visible or invisible?
