Hi Everybody,

I'm wondering how to put USB on a 1400. Yes, I've read that the
card slots only run at half as fast as needed for USB but I have a
thought that one of you may know something about. I do have an ethernet
card for it. My understanding is that ethernet is also hot swappable
like USB. What I want to do this for is that I have a very low end
digital camera that only holds 16 pictures and I thought if I brought
the 1400 to download them it would allow for more pictures while
traveling. So, I'm thinking there might be something one could plug
into the ethernet card that might have a small storage space of its own,
allowing a USB connection but downloading at a speed allowable by the
card slot, by storing some of the info. Anyone hear of something like
that that could be used with a 1400?

If not, any other ideas as to how to download the pictures on a
portable storage device until I can get it home to the desktop?

Thanks,
             Anand
