Thanks for the reply. I was curious about the mention
of SOFTWARE required for the Kanga battery to be
recognised. I guess it ain't necessarily so.
 
When I do get this 3400 PowerBook how do I train the
battery in order to ensure that it charges properly
and retains the moist charge for the best performance.
I will have one used battery and two brand new ones...
