-- Here's the other issue to all those that can help... I recently purchased
a 1400cs/177/16/770 from Timco computers out of Seattle.
The computer arrived the other day, only to find out that the computer
used to be owned by one of the local school districts, and was passworded
giving no access to the system folder, control panels, extensions etc..
No problem I thought, setup a simple appletalk, go over and blow out the
password program. No dice, completely killed os 8.0. That's not what I
wanted to happen. So being that I do not own a copy of os8 ( OS9, but 16megs
won't install) So I jumped over to apple's website and d/l'ed 7.5.3. with
the 7.5.5updater. The problems is, I don't know how I can split it to
individual floppies to install it on the 1400.. I do not currently have a
burner in the 8600 to burn the image.. So does anyone know how to split the
image into floppies? Or how to make a "boot" floppy to install?
